What we do
Mindful Physiotherapy provides simple breathing, mindfulness and hands-on techniques to regulate your nervous system and help you manage:
Ongoing pain
Headaches
Jaw clenching
Breathing pattern disorders
Anxiety
Stress
Symptoms of menopause
Sleep
Mindful Physiotherapy can help you ‘train the brain’ to grow resilience, reduce feelings of pain and enhance overall wellbeing. The brain has an incredible ability to adapt and change. By strengthening your positive brain pathways you can reduce pain – this is part of a process known as neuroplasticity.
Mindfulness and wellbeing
Pain is not just physical. Psychological and social factors are also major influences on pain levels. This explains why feelings of pain can increase when we feel anxious or stressed.
Mindful Physiotherapy can work with you on simple mindfulness and lifestyle strategies that can calm and rewire your brain, boost your wellbeing, reduce pain and help you regain control of your life.
